Tournament Of Legends: Jupiter vs. Kara

Another ‘trailer’ for Tourament of Legends, High Voltages fighter for the Wii.

Not much to say about the game really… Bad trailer, poor graphics, crappy character design, waggles game play… Any hint of skillful game play seems to have gone out of the window a long time ago.

It’s basically everything I avoid in one game. The Wii audience will love it.

I like the concept of a fighting game comprised of mythical characters, that's what really interests me in this game.

  2. Sharky says:

    Then play Soul Calibur.

I do play Soul Calibut, but I mean the characters in this game are various types of mythical figures like a Valkyrie, a gorgon, and a Bastet priestess. I absolutely love mythology so the concept of this game really appeals to me.

Only 11 avaliable characters to choose?

Doesn't look too bad to me. Hidden characters would be cool, though.

Also, I bought my Wii because Godzilla Unleashed was coming out for Wii. That's the only fighting game I've played on that platform, and it was terrible.

As someone who played the game, despite how generic and dull the characters are, the game play is actually pretty tight. The options to use different weapons on each fighter really adds some variety. Also, it's one of those games where the waggle works and help bring you into the game. Still, it is a bit generic and cheesy and might better sell at a discounted price of $30 or so.

    I think it looks neat

    Nice PR work there, Sharky.

I do not know what you are on about, but the trailer did a great job showing what the game was about, the graphics are excellent for Wii, lots of stuff in this game does not look bad at all, and it has a discounted price. Come on, is it really that big of a deal? I am not saying it is the best game ever, but I think you are being a little more than just a bit harsh.

And since when does Soul Calibur have mythical characters?
