GamesTM Magazine Goes Cover Crazy

The SEGA europe blog has just (as in a few minutes ago) announced that European magazine GamesTM is celebrating their 100th issue by releasing 100 alternate covers to represent their list of the top 100 video games. Of course, SEGA is on the list, so we can expect 12 covers to represent our favorite company. See the other six covers after the jump.

Covers include: Rez, Sonic The Hedgehog (1991), NiGHTS into Dreams, Shining Force 3, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Super Monkey Ball, OutRun 2, Virtua Figher 5, Valkyria Chronicles,  Bayonetta and Empire: Total War.

Here are the final six:

First thing I have to ask: Where the hell is Shenmue?!? Besides that, I agree with the choices. But still… Aiai over Ryo Hazuki?! Okay, I’ll stop… But seriously!!! *grumble*

    Aiai over Phantasy Star 4?

    What THE HELL?

  2. Or Panzer Dragoon Saga…

  3. To be fair, I doubt enough people are able to find and afford PDS to play it and deem it list worthy. SEGA needs to get on making that a download title…

Ok lets say that PDS if you are a new age gamer is tought and expensive to find, what in the world happened to SHENMUE and Ryo..?!?! Completely ridiculous if you ask me.

Didn't know it was bout how rare a title was, but about the quality. PDS should be in there. At least Skies of Arcadia. What about PSO? That did a lot for online gaming on consoles.

    Barry!!!!

    It is HAZUKI, not Sazuki!

  8. Did I call him that? Well, thats what he gets for riding around on motorcycles. looks like somebody fixed it. Posts made at 7am can never be perfect. 😛

  9. Barry, I agree that PDS is rare, but that didn't stop them from putting Shining Force 3 on the cover. That is only slightly less expensive on ebay than PDS.

  10. Anyway, I would be haply woth Panzer Dragoon anything on the cover.
