Vanquish features suicide and M rating

ESRB has agreed and given Vanquish the M rating, for Mature audiences only. I was a bit shocked, since Mikami said he wanted to make the game about killing robots, if Halo is not rated M, why would this game?

I guess human soldiers can be killed, when they are killed or blown up, there is blood (and limbs). They also revealed that some cutscenes will have violence and one even has a random character committing suicide. As they say, assassinating himself.

    Who cares about ratings anyway.

I hate it when developers cut stuff cause of ratings.

I'm glad people can assassinate themselves in this game.

When it was revealed that the game will allow you to fight robots only I instantly thought that's for the sake of a T rating from ESRB to sell the game to a wider audience.

But that doesn't seem to be the case, there's a lot of gore and swearing apparently.

    I also like the article's picture. 😀

Yes, that picture is great. Is there any high-res version to make it a wallpaper? 😀

That picture indeed is beautiful, the whole first teaser was beautiful.

Sadly know, its snapped from the first shown teaser.

  6. Dr. SEGA Monkey says:

    George, Halo IS rated M.

  7. Sega Stylista says:

    "George, Halo IS rated M"

    "M" for Mainstream not "Mature"

    Just like Yakuza.

I dunno, the ESRB is a bit of a joke. I do not know why they made that E10 rating a few years back when the thing we REALLY needed was something in between T and M.

The only Halo that is rated T is Halo Wars, and I do not really even know why the rest is made out of Ms. All of the games have blood and stuff sure, but it is not a gorey or gross series. I am pretty sure that words like "Fuck" are not even in any of them. Even Crazy Taxi has that!
