Seems that all the puzzle pieces are falling into place. Satoshi Sakai has recently teased that there is more than just Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity in development for PSO’s 10th year anniversary. The tease comes from Japanese magazine Dengkei Playstation.
“(Infinity) not the only PSO 10th anniversary project.”
Given that SEGA has renewed PSO2.jp domain, Sakai has teased about a new console online Phantasy Star game before, I’m pretty sure its coming. If it does come, I hope PC, PS3 and 360 gamers can play together. Please?

Phantasy Star Online 2: Tennis for XBLA, PSN, Wii, and iPhone.
But for reals, if PSO2, Valkyria Chronicles 3, and Sonic Heroes HD are announced at TGS Sega will have won.
Sonic Heroes HD? Sonic Heroes wasn't good enough for a remake me thinks..
This is exciting news. I think it would be awesome if all platforms could play together too, but the nice thing about PSO XBL was the closed network made security so much better than the Dreamcast version
Looking at this right now it makes me wonder how it all went into a slump for awhile. How hard can it be to emulate the great ideas and concepts as the original PSO? Hopefully if these hints bear fruit we will get something along the lines of this again. That would be fantastic.
I just get this weird feeling of excitement reading this article.
I can't wait
It would be nice if all could play together, but if there's a PC, PS3 and XBox360 version, most likely the PC and PS3 will play together and the X360 will be separated, because of Microsoft.
Microsoft isn't even allowing Square Enix to have PC, PS3 and X360 play together in Final Fantasy XIV (resulting in Squeenix not releasing it for the 360).
I will get the version that is the most popular with my fellow bits, so I will have people to play with. This game can't come soon enough!
