Guardian Heroes HD video interview and gameplay
Gamespot’s On The Spot show had a demo play of Guardian Heroes, the new port being handled by Treasure exclusively for XBLA.
Really weird, that out of nowhere SEGA decided to bring this game back. No complaints, outside the fact that I wish it was on PSN. But hey, can’t cry over exclusivity.

Holy crap! That was legen- wait for it…dary!
The dude from Gamespot seems sort of…. clueless.
Maybe someone will release Panzer Bandit only on PSN to strike a balance.
Panzer Bandit, hehe. I was just playing that yesterday. Its not as good as GH tho…Only 2 plains, no RPG elements…rather boring characters. I'm really amazed GH is getting this kind of spotlight so quickly though. Right after my purchase of Bangai-O HD, my frothing demand increases.
The game is looking awesome with the filters! Weird thing it looks horrible on the screenshots ;p
I want it on PSN, since I dont own a XB… if PSN is coming back.
I feel worried about Treasure; only redoing old stuff, not making anything new. Don't wanna see them getting closed
ps: this guy from Sega is getting bigger and bigger. LOL! He should change his name to Taka Arashi XD
Treasures' made a few new games the past couple of years, Sin and Punishment 2 comes to mind, and Bangai-O on DS. Still, I agree, it's alarming that within in the past ten years Treasure has gone from being a development company that only did new IP, to a company that allowed sequels, to a company that does more remakes than new IP.
Looking way awesome! And I'm guessing at a August/September release.
@Taro:
Yeah, I've seen that Gamespot dude in videos before. He seems very lost half the time. In their Kinect unboxing, he seemed so confused. lol, I was shouting at the screen sometimes, telling him to raise his right arm. Clueless!
The HD filter makes things really really dark.
@Taro
I think Gamespot is pretty clueless when it comes to SEGA in general. Did you see their SEGA booth tour at E3 last year? Ridiculous.
Anywho, I'm excited for this and envious of all you Xbox Live people. =)
I didn't like how dark it was with the filter either. I hope that will be fixed by the time of the release. If not, the original sprites are awesome anyway.
