Sonic Generation footage shows off classic and modern stages

SEGA has begun to ramp up their hype building for Sonic Generation as the release date comes ever closer. Speaking with preGame in their studio, SEGA’s brand manager Aaron Webber discussed and played through Sonic Generations in an interview roughly over 30 minutes long that featured large amounts of new footage with the above video showing modern Sky Sanctuary.

In it, they discuss about the development process of the game, how various fans have helped with the input in the game and of course, played through modern Sky Sanctuary and Seaside Hill. What is interesting to note from both these modern stages is the amount of alternate paths in 3D and the amount of the stage designed in 3D itself.
