Binary Domain – Assassination Attempt trailer

SEGA has released a 5 minute long trailer showing off more of the story that you will find in the full product. I have to say, even though I like the concept of the game, I do think that the English dub is a bit hard to swallow. Especially the dude that sounds oddly enough like Bill Clinton.

The trailer talks about hallow children, robots born thinking they are humans. Basically the plot twist for Terminator Salvation. Did I ruin the movie? Oops.

Whoooooo boy……ugh. I actually don’t think the dubbing is horrible but some of these lines…I *don’t* think this is the part of the game Sega should be focusing their marketing on. This does look good, though. I’m just worried about such long cutscenes in an action game.

Edit; I’m actually pleasantly surprised that this vid hasn’t been slammed with “Dislikes.” Maybe it’s fine, who knows. Definitely this type of trailer will be appealing to a *certain* crowd but not the mainstream.

I don’t think that was bad at all! I thought it was pretty good, got some interesting twists and set up a story I’d like to know more about…

“We’re a God-fearing country, Mr. Bergen. And only he can create life.”

Is exactly the kind of douchey thing I’d expect an American president to say… I bet George Bush has said that about three in the past month.

It’s pretty good, not excellent or anything. One thing I read in the comment section of IGN was that the characters look like zombies. Sadly I have to agree with this. They look terrible

But see, no, that’s exactly the type of thing someone *not* from America would expect an American politician to say, lol!

It would have worked without the “God-fearing country” bit, which comes off as a little too self-aware to be believable.

Anyway, I’m not complaining. Voice acting seems okay, which is good.

A few of the lines where very corny, especially then “God fearing” one. Then again, I’m agnostic. I kinda liked it, though I do wonder how the robot general got through all those metal detectors XD.
