You GOT to try that while recording for the next show! I think you’ll unlock all the secrets to SEGA in those ten minutes. Then you’ll really become Super Sonic!

  2. CrazyTails says:

Took me a while before I could make time for this.

    Great podcust as always

  3. CrazyTails says:

Outrun 2 is a great game and it’s follow ups are awesome as well. Not to be a smartass, but The reviews were actually not that bad. Go check it out they are actually pretty good.

Genki ported VF3 to Dreamcast. I didn’t remember that it was released in the US on my 19th birthday. Never played it, Soul Calibur and DoA2 were all I needed.

    • Barry the Nomad says:

Yeah, the name came to me just after we talked about it on the podcast, but I didn’t want to interrupt the current discussion to say it.

I knew it was the Super Magnetic Neo developer, but I couldn’t remember the name right away.

Just so you know, Bayonetta is a Sega owned ip franchise that Platinum games made for Sega to own and publish. If there were ever going to be a sequel to Bayonetta it would be a decision only for Sega to make. Developing new ip for Sega is the whole point of the Platinum games and Sega deal.

    • Barry the Nomad says:

I can’t recall when we talked about Bayonetta, but I know that it is a SEGA owned IP. Didn’t mean to say that it wasn’t if we did. 🙂

    • George says:

You were being sarcastic. It is that a lot of ‘hardcore’ SEGA fans believe that Bayonetta is a disgrace and not a SEGA IP because it doesn’t have ‘SEGA DNA’.

    • samsonite says:

I don’t get that kind of thinking, you couldn’t get more ‘hardcore’ Sega. Bayonetta is able to encapsulate all the great things that we love about Sega into one game. Arcade fun, a unique quirky style and the attention to details like sound scores. Its all there and its the best Sega have contributed to and published in a long time.

  6. This one is not in iTunes, just episode 28.

  7. Emmett The Crab says:

Thanks for the mention! Our Outrun tournament was super-fun.
