Binary Domain coming to Steam on April 6th

Steam now
has the pre-order page for Binary Domain. If you pre-purchase the game, you will get the pre-order bonus’ from Gamestop. The game is also cheaper on PC, costing $39.99. This will most likely be the best looking version of the game.

So who was waiting for the PC version?

I wasn’t interested in Binary Domain because I thought it wouldn’t be coming to the PC, but now that it’s been announced, I’ve already pre-ordered it on Steam. 😀

I’m pretty surprised about this, it’s nice to see SEGA be more consistent about PC releases. When people on the SEGA forums were requesting this, I thought they were mad cause there’d be no way an RGGS-developed game would leave consoles. It’s good to be wrong.

    Yup, it’s great news.

But I’m pissed that the amazing trailers for this game didn’t make the steam page! wtf is up with that??!!

This is a AAA title and all they have to show for it are a couple screen shots. I’m sending in a complaint to steam AND sega right now telling them to get those trailers up and get people pumped for the game!

  8. ezodagrom says:

In the Steam page they changed the release date to just April 2012, without a specific date. :\

  9. Adam says:

Ok, just sent this to steam:

    Dear Steam,

Please get Binary Domain’s amazing trailers up on its steam page. The screen shots are woefully insufficient in relaying the games amazing atmosphere and engaging story.

As a AAA title, Sega spent considerable resources producing and airing several high production trailers anticipating its console release. I’d hope to see the same effort put forth on its PC release.

Regardless, thank you Steam and Sega for bringing this fantastically priced game to PC gamers.

    All the best,

    Adam

Feel free to copy/paste it and send your own ‘suggestion’ to Steam/Sega.

What kind of bizarro world do we live in where the consumers have to tell them how to market their own products?
