		<description><![CDATA[LinkedIn can be seen as the professional version of facebook. Honestly, it&#039;s mostly used for networking. People put their resumes, skill sets, and other personal info on there in hopes of building their professional network, thus leading to a job. 

Now, as for how many people use it actively, that&#039;s up in the air. As a lot of people only log in every few months. Some not even that often. 

Overall it is a good place to find people who work in your profession and connect with them.
