Check out the trailer for Hucast’s upcoming Dreamcast game The Ghost Blade

Coming soon to an undead console near you is Hucast’s top down shoot ’em up The Ghost Blade. As you can see in the teaser trailer above, the game is in an alpha state, but is already looking great. That game is set for “TBA 2013”, so expect it within the next 8 months. You can pre-order it now in a 3-disc Collector’s Edition, a 2-disc Limited Edition, and a single disc standard edition.

It’s great to see games like this one coming out after so many years… But I wish we could see more releases other than Shoot’em Up’s.

Rip-off of DoDon Pachi, like, frame by frame… lame… why they never create a game as impressive as JSR for example? Tired of these generic shooting crap on DC… great creative fans SEGA have…

This doesn’t actually look that much like DoDonPachi. And as much as I would like to see something as impressive as JSR, I don’t think any of these small developers have anywhere near as many people as it takes to make that kind of a game. Besides, this does happen to be quite impressive, just a different kind of game. I’m thankful that the ‘shmup’ community is keeping the DC alive.
