GUTS WILL BE SPELLED thanks to the PEGI ratings site which reveals Typing of the Dead: Overkill on PC. The release date is said to be today, but other release dates on the site do not line up with the actual release dates of games. It also appears that the game will support online play: “This game allows the player to interact with other players ONLINE”.
SEGA’s twitter has recently been teasing that “GUTS WILL BE _______.” today, and given the PEGI rating it appears that those who guessed “SPELLED” were right. We’ll have more details on the game once SEGA officially reveals it. [Note: the screenshot above is from the console version of the game]lMnVSKU YQ SLxQYswnQWR OnQsAd:

it kinda sucks that Sega West is basicilly trying to shun every HotD thing outside of Overkill :/
But they rereleased 3 and 4 on PSN with Move support, and 2 and 3 on Wii. There’s not much else beside 1 and that weird dating arcade game than needs rereleasing. Sumo put in HotD stages in all of their Sega games. Of the Sega franchises, HotD is not nearly as neglected as some of the other franchises collecting dust at Sega.
Guys, be lucky that you even got a typing of the dead release. PSO2 was announced the middle of last year, and we still haven’t received an update for an official release date.
I second what pso2love said. GunZ 2 The Duel was announced several years ago…and there’s still no release date in sight….even though it got greenlit on Steam. Those guys though… if they don’t get their act together… it’s gonna be Duke Forever all over again…and we all know how that turned out.
