I’m from Brazil and the price is pretty much what I would expect from around here. The NES Mini, if brought to here oficially would probably cost even more than this one.

As for the collection of games… ehhhh, I think that there are a lot of weird picks. I personally never heard of the games you guys didn’t hear either.

I’m interested on the console but the lack of HDMI and knowing that some cartridges won’t work (they mentioned Virtua Racing and Sonic & Knuckles) are kinda of a bummer. I guess you can play these games if they’re on the SD Card?

TecToy also mentioned that they’re interested in seeing if they can manufacture new cartridges. That would be pretty interesting but I doubt that it will happen.

I’m on the waiting camp, if the sound quality is good then I’m probably in.

  2. Will American Genesis games work on it?

I’m guessing the reason it’s only composite out put is maybe HDTVS aren’t mainstream yet. Correct me if I’m wrong.

    * not mainstream in Brazil I mean.

  5. Douglas Neto says:

I think the most exciting feature is the SD Card entry in the back of the console

I’m from Brazil and I think it’s very expensive, but it would sell like cup cakes if it had a HDMI output and sold world wide. I think it doesn’t has a HDMI output because it would require an upscaled video to match the HD resolution, thus increasing the price. Watch out, the Brazilian color system is PAL-M, but the new TVs pick the 3 systems up automatically PAL/PAL-M/NTSC.
