SEGA has just announced that Shadow the Hedgehog will be playable in upcoming Sonic Forces. While you can replay Modern Sonic stages with him, he will also have his own story that serves as a prologue to Sonic Forces via Episode Shadow. This DLC will be free for everyone and seems to add more layers to Sonic Force‘s story.
