No Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles or Sonic 3 & Knuckles means it’s a no buy for me, especially as previous collections had them.

Has anyone found any hidden/unlockable games?

    • Barry says:

None from what I can see, which is a real shame. Sure it has the largest amount of Genesis games yet, but lacking the Ecco trilogy and having an incomplete Sonic series really hurts it. Also, these collections are the only real way we get more obscure titles rereleased, like Zaxxon, Golden Axe and Altered Beast arcade, Congo Bongo, Tac-Scan, etc. Really could have included a Master System with another 10 games, like the Phantasy Star and Golden Axe games for the system, and the Sonic titles.

Yeah… and why no Thunder Force? Sega owns that IP now. Still, I am having fun with this. However, I have not bought many of the previous collections. So I can understand that people who have bought them might just let this one pass by.
