SEGAbits at E3 2019: Retro-Bit SEGA Controllers Interview and Preview Video

SEGAbits writers Kori-Maru and Dakota were given a tour of the Innex booth and took a look at the USB, wireless and classic SEGA controllers they’re working on for Genesis, Saturn and Dreamcast consoles as well as modern hardware. They also get a look at some cool upcoming retro SEGA Genesis game shadowboxes!

    Neat presentation. Though I can’t believe they haven’t thought of adding a second analogue stick to the Dreamcast controller yet, it’s getting official Sega support to add the two extra buttons (X and Y) to the Dreamcast controller (making it closer to the 3D Saturn controller it was based on) but not a second analogue? That was the one main thing the Dreamcast controller lacked in hindsight.

      A second analog stick isn’t going to matter much if games don’t support it, either natively or re-configuring button layouts.
