  1. Someone somewhere said “hey, didn’t we do a remastered version with Christian Whitehead and Headcanon that has 16:9 and full speed?”

And then someone said “meh, emulate… but oh we’ll copy the same Knuckles ROM.”

And then someone much lower on the payscale said… “Oh no!”

Yep, not to mention the pricing… it’s just romhacks with some pre-selected cheats you can enable. And not even unique romhacks. It’s dime-a-dozen romhacks i.e. spindash in Sonic 1.
The fact people aren’t mad about having to pay 8 bucks for a single rom is blowing my mind. Sega fanbase used to be one of the most negative fanbases out there and now they basically slurp everything Sega spits out EXCEPT the 1st party stuff. What the hell is wrong with people…
It’s like a hundred bucks for 12 roms in total with more to come as separate purchases. You can buy a Mega Drive with way more games for less money than this. And everyone’s like YESS SEGA PLEASE MAKE ME PAY 8 BUCKS FOR SOME DUSTY OLD ROM YOU FOUND ON A ROMHACKING FORUM THAT YOU DRAG&DROPPED INTO AN EMULATOR. What a joke.

Yeah they said sometime ago about putting in things removed from the original too. Can’t remember the source. Was here or Nintendo Life.

Knuckles is a nice addition but definitely not a selling point.

Get back to me when Hidden Palace + is included.

Sonic and knocked had the lock on, so Sonic 2 went on top.

Wonderful to finally see this included in a retro games collection,I hope they include Sonic 3& knuckles

  4. I’m interested, but will it be releasing in the US? I do have to agree with Stephen though, I wish they would add the option to play the deleted stages.

I hope that something like the score attack mode from the AGES Sonic 1 port is in this as well. That was an excellent mode that finally fixed my biggest issue with classic Sonic by balancing it’s scoring system into something challenging and aggressive, and that alone made the port worth buying.
