Being our first Game Boy Advance game on the show, we also share our thoughts on Nintendo’s handheld, including the best games and our preferred models. As for Gunstar Super Heroes, we dive into the game’s development, how it compares to the original, and discuss the many elements of SEGA fan service that did and DIDN’T appear in the final product.

    The GBA had a lot of good Sega and Treasure games. If you had a Game Boy Player, you could play them on your TV with an actual controller. Treasure was still making great 2D games in this era. It’d be nice if they could do that for the Switch/PS4/XBOX ONE or port them in HD. They really are great sequels and that Astro Boy game is freaking amazing!

      Astro Boy is arguably the best game on the GBA and one of Treasure’s best as well. It’s a shame more people haven’t played it or even heard of it. It’s much better than Gunstar Super Heroes.
