Along with all the other news unveiled at Sonic the Hedgehog’s 25th anniversary party, we got to see the first gameplay of Sonic in Lego Dimensions! The trailer shows Sonic running through Green Hill Zone and other dimensions within the Lego crossover game. It’s also our first glimpse at Super Sonic. Overall, looks really cool. Sonic specific Lego Dimensions content comes out this Fall.

Just at the end of the Sonic the Hedgehog 25th Anniversary Party, SEGA had one last surprise. This is Project Sonic 2017, a modern Sonic game being worked on by Sonic Team. It is coming to PS4, XBOX One, PC and NX Holiday 2017! Enjoy the trailer. Holiday 2017 is pretty far away, SEGA is all about quality now though. So the wait will be worth it most likely.
Just a while ago at the Sonic 25th Anniversary event, Sonic Dash, one of SEGA’s popular games for Android and iOS was featured on stage for a bit. Sonic Dash, developed by Hardlight, has hit 200 million downloads, and that isn’t the only news. Green Hill Zone and Classic Sonic were also announced as new content for the game. The new Sonic Dash content will be available to play tonight.
At Sonic the Hedgehog’s 25th anniversary party a new Sonic game was finally unveiled! This game is called Sonic Mania and it seems to be a remix of past Sonic games and entirely new levels, made by Christian Whitehead aka Taxman, and Stealth.
Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are all playable and the game comes out in early 2017. It was playable at the Sonic the Hedgehog 25th anniversary event, and will be playable at the upcoming Summer of Sonic. We will update this post when we have more info, in the meantime, enjoy the trailer!
Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd is finally in stores. This launch trailer shows a good overview of the game. If you haven’t seen our review you should check it out. Just look at the top of the page or scroll further down.
So, if you haven’t bought this game yet, what are you waiting for? It’s time to get Miku-Miku’d! (For Reals).
So, Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd is finally here. My first time playing a Project Diva game was last year when it came out on PS3 in western territories, and I’ve been hooked ever since. So many hours of my time logged into playing Project Diva F. Needless to say, I was looking forward to Project Diva F 2nd and it doesn’t disappoint, in fact, it goes beyond my expectations.
If you have played Hatsune Miku Project Diva F, you have an option of carrying over all the accessories, modules, and items you have unlocked over into F 2nd when creating a new game. Don’t worry if you haven’t unlocked everything, F 2nd gives you a way to unlock items from the first game if you haven’t unlocked them.
Hatsune Miku performed “Sharing the World” live on David Letterman on October 8th on national TV. Sharing the World is the theme song of Miku Expo in both Los Angeles and New York. If you aren’t aware, SEGA produces the CGI that is used at the Miku performances.
The CGI on the David Letterman stage seems to be lower quality then normal but is probably due to lack of space. The Miku concerts are 3D holographics and getting the detail used at the big events probably requires a lot of equipment. Not as simple as having one 2D display which doesn’t require complex technology.
If you have never seen a live Miku Conference before I have included a video of one after the jump. Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd comes out November 18th for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. In 2015 Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX comes out for the Nintendo 3DS. Great music games, you should definitely check out the demos on PSN for Project Diva F if you haven’t.
So, if you didn’t know, SEGA America was at Anime Expo with a big booth dedicated to Hatsune Miku. This booth looks to be much bigger then the presence Project Diva had at E3. If you watch the video you will see a lot of cosplaying people, people playing Project Diva F, and bits of the Project Diva F tournament. So, if you want to see how the pros play, watch this video. Overall, it looks like it was a fun time!

According to Hollywood insider site The Tracking Board, the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie that is rumored to be coming by Sony Pictures is going to be dark.
It’s recently been confirmed that a movie adaptation of SONIC THE HEDGEHOG is in development at Columbia Pictures, with the studio going for a dark, edgy version skewed towards older audiences! NOT ONLY this, but the studio plans to make it a mix of live-action and animation, allowing the much loved character to really meld with reality.
From the way The Tracking Board is talking about this movie, it sounds like it is a ways away from release. Also, it’s just a rumor at the moment, so it’s also possible the info they have could be completely false, but it’s always fun to speculate.
Hatsune Miku Project Diva f on the PlayStation Vita is a great game! Hatsune Miku Project Diva f PS Vita is similar to Hatsune Miku Project Diva F on the PS3. The PS Vita version came out in Japan first and the PS3 second. In the west that release order was reversed. I’m pretty busy with stuff right now so this is just a mini-review, but I had to talk about a few things and how awesome this game is.
Hatsune Miku Project Diva f is out now for the PlayStation Vita on the PlayStation Network in North America for $30. Europeans can get their hands on the game when PSN updates next week on March 12th. Existing PS3 DLC is compatible with the PS Vita version of Project Diva f. Project Diva f also has Vita specific DLC for $10 that gives you the extra songs that were added on the PS3 release. Project Diva f (Vita) came out before Project Diva F (PS3) in Japan, and that’s why you have to buy DLC to get the extra songs on the Vita version. Although, even with the extra song DLC added to the cost, the Vita version is still $10 less than the PS3 version.
So, are you excited? Did you buy it already? Do you plan on buying Project Diva f for the PS Vita?
If you haven’t been keeping up with Japanese PS4 news, PlayStation Japan has been doing a PS4 countdown showing various games. They saved the best for last. Yakuza Ishin is “1 day left” of the PS4 countdown and has the longest trailer by far out of all the games on the countdown. You can see some new footage, it’s all cinematic footage, but it looks great. Also has some awesome music by a Japanese band called “ONE OK ROCK”.
Valkyria Chronicles was an award winning game on PS3. The game got so many rewards and much praise, but sadly it didn’t sell well. Would you be interested in seeing Valkyria Chronicles have another chance at life in the west? SEGALIZATION has a good article about how you can help.

Here is a trailer for Sonic Team’s Puyo Puyo Tetris coming out on Feb 6th for 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Wii U. This trailer is actually a bit old, but we figured most people in the west haven’t seen it, so we would post it anyways. If you haven’t seen on our article on why you should be interested in Puyopuyo Tetris, check it out!
I played the demo last night on PSN for a bit. I found it quite fun. Forgot how fun Puyo Puyo and Tetris were. We really should make some noise to get this game localized… I know, another game to add to the huge list of games we want SEGA to localize, but this one should be fairly low budget compared to some other ones.
MCV UK has released a list of the top selling 100 games for 2013 in the UK. SEGA has got quite a few titles on the list. Looks like UK residents like them some Aliens Colonial Marines, Football Manager, and some Sonic 🙂
