SEGA Toys releases robotic cat and baby chick, much to the surprise of real cats

New from SEGA Toys, the creators of Wappy Dog and home to the SEGA Pico in its later days, comes Yume Neko Celeb, a white robotic cat. Retailing for 11,000 yen and released yesterday, the cat snuggles, purs and meows. Some might say this is just like a real cat, but being a cat owner myself, there is a 90% chance that a real cat will bite or scratch you if you attempt any of these things. Thankfully, Yume Neko Celeb has not been programmed to harm humans… yet.

Released on the same day is a yellow chick robot called Yume Hiyoko, which moves its wings and chirps. I for one welcome our new robot overlords. After the break, check out an extended video for Yume Neko Celeb and Yume Hiyoko.

Black Panther 2 to feature lots of cats

Are you a cat lover? So are lots of Japanese people it seems. Did you know in Japan they have such a thing as ‘Cat Cafes’?  In Black Panther 2, you will be looking for Tsukahara who runs the fighting tournaments, but before you can enter he will force you to find his 102 cats. Pictured above is the new mission revealed by SEGA.

Talking about collecting, you can also collect sexy cards that if you put together in the right order create a sexy lady. That’s right, cats and wank materiel in one game? It does have it all.

Yakuza PSP lets you collect cats and Idol cards

Early in Black Panther: New Yakuza Chapter (prologue) a man will ask you to find him 101 cats. So when you play the game, you will be able to hear cats, if you investigate and find them. You can bring them back to their owner and get a cash reward. Feels good not punching someone in the face for money!

As for Idol cards, when you are walking around Kamurocho you will be approached by Idol managers who want to promote their upcoming Idols. They will give you promo cards, each Idol has 6 cards. Each Idol is a real girl, who are also trying to become an Idol in real life. Sounds a bit sexy.
