Snap, seems that there is another SEGA theme creation in LittleBigPlanet 2. This time someone took the tools given in the game and recreated a puzzle from Chu Chu Rocket. Pretty impressive. I suck at creating stuff in the game.
Search for it when you guys play, if you guys are wondering who created it… he goes by “Hymanator”. Classy name.
Chu Chu Rocket for the iPad is FREE today courtesy of AppAllStar. AppAllStar offers a free app every day and can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store. The iPad version of Chu Chu Rocket has an exclusive mode where by everyone plays VS. each other on the same iPad touch screen.
Chu Chu Rocket is one of the best party games ever made and to pass it up for free would be FOOLISH… FOOLISH.
SEGA has been showing a ton of support for ChuChuRocket! on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Last time they updated it with over 100 more levels, this time you will get retina support and best of all online multiplayer has been added.
Hi kids! It’s Thanksgiving, and Uncle Barry has been drinking again. Y’know that that means, he’s being generous! Seeing as how I love the iPhone version of Chu Chu Rocket, and it’s 99 cents until December 1st, I’ll give a copy to the first person who posts in the comments! The only rules are that you have to own an iOS device, you have to not already own the game, and I will only pay for it while it is 99 cents. Comment now before the booze wears off and I become a money grabbing jerk again!
Gah, you get a game and then you have to patch it. Isn’t that annoying? Well, this time, you might actually be happy about patching up your game. Not only will this patch fix annoying bugs, it will add 100 extra levels. Full details: Features:
• iPad Game Center for OS 4.2 iPads
• 100 Extra levels added to Puzzle mode
• Ghost arrows added to Multiplayer mode
• Arrow placement UI improved
• Multiplayer lobby UI improved
Fixes:
• Rare crash-at-launch bug fixed
• Bug that occasionally caused some achievements not to unlock fixed
• Mouse-entering-rocket audio issue fixed
• Performance upgrades
Actually a pretty fast patch, considering I have seen SEGA take forever to patch their other titles or not patch them at all. But it won’t stop here, SEGA says they have ‘more plans’ for Chu Chu Rocket in the future. Exciting.
It’s that time of the year again folks! The night that all kinds of hideous ghouls, creeps and basement dwellers come out to play… And that’s just the Sega fans.
With Halloween come pumpkins and what kind of self respecting Sega fan would we be if we didn’t do a Sega related pumpkin!? This year we decided to base our pumpkin on Puyo Pop. We got some Puyos on there and classic character Carbuncle.
(Note; we even got him a small ruby for his forehead! Now that’s commitment… Even if it’s plastic.)

If you own an iOS device, buy this awesome game NOW! The iPhone/iPod Touch version sells for $4.99 and the iPad version sells for $6.99, adding HD visuals and local multiplayer. Still not convinced? Check out my first impressions.
If you have one of them hipster Apple devices, like the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, you will be able to purchase Chu Chu Rocket on October 28th. Not that long of a wait!
SEGA has stated that this is a ‘brand new’ game, designed for the iPad and iPhone in mind. The game will not be a universal app, for those owners of more than one of the devices. The iPad version also has some exclusive features, like 4 player same-screen multiplayer. Make sure they all wash their hands.
Some negative news: Apparently local mutliplayer causes lag, almost a full second worth of lag. Lets hope that SEGA showed off an old build and this is not the cause in the full release.
Forgive me for not thinking of a cat and mouse pun for the headline. Via SEGA’s e-newsletter comes an official word on when we can expect the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch to get Chu Chu fever: late October! Considering the iDevice’s are getting Sonic 4 next week, October will be a big month for SEGA on the App Store. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but $7.99 to $9.99 seem to be the magic numbers for other new App Store releases from SEGA.
SEGA have stated that depending on if fans want those games on Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. What do you have to do? Go to their facebook and tell them you want it.
While you are add it, tell us you like us on facebook too. You don’t want to hurt our feelings, right?
