Pix’n Love announces Yakuza: Like a Dragon Limited Collector’s Edition, pre-orders open on September 9th

Are you a little disappointed that SEGA America is only doing a steel book version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon? are you looking for a bigger package with more extras? Well, French publisher Pix’n Love has you covered with they’re newely announced “Yakuza: Like a Dragon Limited Edition” that comes not only with the steel book we are getting in America, but also a 80 page art book, 4 lithographs and a certification slip.

I personally have never bought any of these limited editon console releases from Pix N’ Love but do know they have a international account on twitter and have been publishing SNK titles via they’re own branding (here in America its being done by Limited Run Games). You should check out their website on the day if you want to import this version.

Pix’n Love Publishing doing their own Limited Collector’s Edition of Shenmue III

The French video game publisher known as Pix’n Love publishing will have its own limited edition version of Shenmue III, this version of the game is set to go on sale on October 9, 2019 and be limited to only 2,500 units. The publisher has done limited editions for games like Resident Evil 2 Remake, Travis Strikes Again, and even Mega Man 11. They also do ‘signed copies’ of some of these limited editions, but it doesn’t seem Shenmue III will have that.

This will make the Pix’n Love version the rarest considering that the Limited Run Games Collector’s Edition is limited to 5,000 units, while this one is half that. How many times will you own Shenmue III? I guess we will find out. Pre-orders will go up at October 9, 2019 at 4:30PM (UK time). While they didn’t do a price their “Limited Collector’s Edition” line-up usually range from 69,90 € ($77 USD) to 79,90 € ($88 USD). They do ship to countries like the United States, Europe and Japan; in case you wanted to import.

Pix’n Love Editions have officially announced L’histoire de Shenmue. The book, which is entirely in French, covers the history of Shenmue and Shenmue 2, features an interview with Yu Suzuki and 50 illustrated pages. The full book will be 250 pages in length and will be released in a standard edition as well as a special Phoenix & Dragon Edition. The special edition features a jade colored slipcover featuring both iconic mirrors. Each special edition version of the book will come with a certificate of authenticity and will be individually numbered. Both are available to pre-order today, with the special edition costing about 35 euros while the standard book will cost about 25 euros. Both versions are set to release December 20th, 2016.

As mentioned, the book is entirely in French. However, Pix’n Love does have a UK store and have released select books to the US in the past. L’histoire de Sonic, for example, later saw an English translation. No word yet on L’histoire de Shenmue receiving the same treatment, but if it does we will let you all know!
