Still no word on if this will be heading to the West, but SEGA will officially be releasing the PS Vita version of the popular Phantasy Star Online 2 in Japan on February 28th. Like the PC version, it will be a free to play download title, though a retail edition will also be available. Those opting to buy the physical copy will be awarded with additional items and costumes.
Phantasy Star Online 2 will also come bundled with a new Ice Silver PS Vita, which will see a Japanese release on the 28th of February as well.
A Western release of the PC version, meanwhile, is still vaguely scheduled for “early 2013″ with no word on plans for a Western Vita release.
Sega’s Playstation Vita game, Samurai & Dragons, crosses over special guests from the Fate/Stay Night series by TYPE MOON. We have other SEGA franchises represented as cards like the SEGA All-Stars, Valkyria Chronicles and Shining characters to use during gameplay. Not much to say besides enjoy the visuals! Also just to note… this is different from the PC opening. Phantasy Star Online 2 PS Vita comes out Feb 2013 in Japan, with no date set for western territories.
I see stars, so many stars this week with the release of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. However this isn’t the last of the All-Stars this year. Samurai and Dragons official website updated with the information on the “Sega All-Stars Pack” The card pack features a full cast of characters from various Sega franchises from over the years such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Virtua Fighter, Jet Set Radio, Sakura Wars, Shenmue and many more. You can use these set of cards in battle against your enemies. The Sega All-Stars Pack will be released next week in Japan on November 28, 2012. Sega West, can we get this game too? Are you a fan of the Hatsune Miku games from SEGA? If so, you might be interested in this. SEGA Japan has announced that Next Hatsune Miku Project Diva will come with a PlayStation Vita skin.
The game comes out August 30th, so you still have time to decide.
