If were hoping on discounts for Nintendo Sonic the Hedgehog games, guess what? The Sonic 25th Anniversary eShop sale will be running on both Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U eShops now until November 29th, 2016.
Nine of SEGA’s fantastic SEGA 3D Classics remake/re-releases are getting a discount on the North American eShop. If you haven’t picked up some of these titles I totally think its the time to get on it. If I had to recommend one of the following nine titles, I would totally recommend 3D Out Run. Read my review on that title here.
The following games are being discounted (from $5.99 to $3.99):
- 3D Super Hang-On
- 3D Space Harrier
- 3D Ecco the Dolphin
- 3D Streets of Rage

SEGA and Humble Bundle have joined forces yet again to save you money on great SEGA games and give to charity in the process! Dubbed the “Build Your Own SEGA Bundle”, thirteen SEGA PC games ranging from RTS to first person horror to racing to sports are on sale for 75% off. If you buy three games, they all get discounted 80% while four games gets an 83% discount and five increases the discount to a cool 85%. The sale ends in 22 hours as I am writing this, so better jump on it while you still can! Games on sale include: Total War: Attila, Alien: Isolation, Company of Heroes 2, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, Company of Heroes, Total War: Rome II – Emperor Edition, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault, The Typing of the Dead: Overkill Collection, Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II Retribution, Total War: Shogun, Valkyria Chronicles, and Eastside Hockey Manager.
Are you a SEGA fan that still hasn’t tried any of the popular Persona series video games? I think now is the time for you to jump on board since Sony has put three entries on sale! All prices are USD. Persona is like Final Fantasy as you don’t need to play the prior ones to enjoy a new entry. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a fighting game that continues the plot after the RPG games, FYI:
- Persona 4 Golden (PS Vita) $12.00
- Persona 4 (PS2 classic) $4.00
- Persona 4 Arena ultimax (PS3) $23.99
If the prices aren’t low enough, Playstation Plus members get an extra savings (ranging from 10%-20%). If you have a Playstation Vita I would suggest picking up Persona 4 Golden instead of the PS2 classic version, since it has more content. You can read about that here. The sale ends on January 19th.
If you have an extra $4.00 dollars I suggest you also pick up one of my favorite Playstation One games, none other than Tomba! a game created by Capcom legend Tokuro Fujiwara.
SEGA has priced off a huge portion of their catalogue on Steam from today until March 30th in a weekend sale. This sale includes great deals like the recent PC port of Valkyria Chronicles for 66% off, Alien: Isolation for 75% off, The Typing of The Dead: Overkill and all of its DLC for 75% off and all Sonic games for 50% off.
If you don’t have any of SEGA’s games on Steam yet and have money to spend, there’s also the SEGA Super Bundle which includes most of SEGA’s games on Steam for $79.99/€69.99/£59.99. And of course Binary Domain is on sale again for 50% off, which you should really buy if you don’t own it yet cause Binary Domain is one of the most underrated gems of the last generation.
SEGA and Creative Assembly have launched ‘Total War Week‘ on Steam, through September 25-29th. This means 75% discount on all Total War back catalog, including titles like Viking: Battle for Asgard and Total War: Shogun 2.
Not only that, but if you click here you’ll be able to download the full Total War Rome II and be able to play it for free all weekend. That totally beats a demo, right?
Hey, if you still have room on your 3DS SD card and have been looking for a few more games to tickle your portable gaming fancy, check out these games on sale on the eShop. One of the games I would say is worth picking up is Shin Megami Tensei IV and even Etrian Odyssey series if your into rogue type games.
- Shin Megami Tensei IV – $19.99
- Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers – $14.99
- Code of Princess – $14.99
- Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl – $14.99
- Etrian Odyssey IV – $14.99
- Devil Survivor: Overclocked – $14.99
- Conception II – $29.99
Sure the sales aren’t as steep as you would find on Steam or even PSN, but this is a Nintendo service so be grateful for the discount given as they say.
Altus has now dropped the price of the following PSP Persona ports: Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and arguably the best deal in the bunch Persona 3 Portable. The titles will now only cost you $4.99 and are playable on both the PSP and the Playstation Vita.
Persona 3: Portable is as enhanced remake of the PS2 Persona 3 game but with added content. The player can now play the game as a female, which alters the game including characters you meet and social links (which are important in this title). In my opinion, Persona 3 Portable is the best version of Persona 3 and its only $5, totally worth it.
- Sonic Everywhere Pack (17 Sonic PC games) – $18.74
- Aliens: Colonial Marines – $1.99
- Company of Heroes – $1.49
So, what are you picking up?
You can now save up to 85% on some of the best Total War games, if you are a SEGA fan and haven’t tried the series out, you might want to check out this sale. I recommend trying Total War: Shogun 2 to start off. I know there have been a few friends that have wanted to try this franchise out and now that the prices on this sale are decent enough, it won’t cost you too much to dip your fingers in.
The best part is that most of the Total War games use Steam and support all the features like cards, achievements and some even support the Workshop.
Since we know that Sonic Jump is still going to get updates, Android users should jump on the sale before they release Sonic Dash and that takes up all your mobile time (and battery).
Hey, you got $5 bucks and a capable PC? Well, why not pick up Binary Domain? We here at SEGAbits loved the game, check out our review. It even redeems on Steam, so no worries there. What else is on sale for SEGA? Let’s have a look.
- Binary Domain – $5 [Redeems on Steam]
- Sonic Generations – $7.50 [Redeems on Steam]
- Jet Set Radio – $5
Not as much as I would have liked. But it is still quite a nice selection. Though having a nice sell on SEGA & Sonic All-Stars Transformed would have been really awesome. You can check out over 800 games being discount over at Amazon now. Have fun!
Sony is having a great PSN sale and SEGA has some great titles up on it.
NiGHTS into dreams… – Regular $9.99, Sale $4.99, PS Plus $2.50
Jet Set Radio – Regular $9.99, Sale $4.99, PS Plus $2.50
The House of the Dead: OVERKILL Extended Cut – Regular $19.99, Sale $9.99, PS Plus $5.00
So if you haven’t got any of these, now is a great time to pick them up. Especially if you have PS Plus. Sale starts tomorrow Jan 22nd, and goes through to Jan 28th.
If you haven’t heard of Tee Fury, its basically a site that sells ‘geeky’ themed shirts (may it deal with comics, movies or video games) for a limited time. How long? 24 hours. After a day they put up a new design to sell. Meaning that you can collect shirts and you won’t have to worry about having the same shirt as everyone else. How much do they cost? Only $10 bucks.
Today they have up a shirt titled “Super Sonic Bros”, check out the design above. What do you think? Blasphemous ?
Hey guys, you guys heard the bad news that Anarchy Reigns isn’t coming out till early 2013 in the West. Don’t fret, Buy.com has a pretty damn good deal. Pre-order the game now and get it when it comes out for $26.99. What a great investment. Also free shipping, my favorite form of shipping.
According to them, the list price of the item or the MSRP will be $29.99. Is SEGA planning on releasing this game as a budget title day one? If so, that is probably a good move, in my opinion.
