SEGAbits Plays Episode #4: Alien: Isolation

SEGAbits Plays returns with a brand new game from SEGA and The Creative Assembly, Alien: Isolation! In this episode, George takes Barry into outer space where Amanda Ripley uses whatever she has at her disposal to duck, dodge, and fight a lone xenomorph. A killer alien isn’t the only enemy out there, as George and Barry encounter dangling electrical wires, annoying old bald men, and trigger happy humans.

SEGAbits Plays Episode #3: SEGA Genesis, SEGA CD, and 32X

In our latest episode of SEGAbits Plays, Barry walks George through an assortment of SEGA Genesis, SEGA CD and 32X games. Games featured include Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Tail Spin for the Genesis, Eternal Champions for the SEGA CD, and Motocross Championship and Zaxxon’s Motherbase 2000 for the 32X. SEGAbits Plays is back with another live stream of SEGA Pico games! While episode #0 played several licensed games, this time we’re focusing on Tails and the Music Maker, Sonic the Hedgehog’s Gameworld (the Japanese import and the American version) as well as a very special playthrough of Fishing Pico – Donald no Adventure. Yes, the SEGA Pico had a fishing controller. Joining Barry in this two hour Pico party is Sonic Retro’s Bartman. Keep your eyes peeled for Sonic recolors and an excessively gory drawing of Plucky Duck.

SEGAbits Plays: Jet Set Radio Episode #1

Welcome to the first official episode of our new YouTube series SEGAbits Plays! In this episode, streamed live on our SEGA Channel Retro Twitch channel yesterday at 5:30PM Pacific/8:30PM Eastern, Barry and George play through the Official Dreamcast Magazine demo disc featuring the exclusive Jet Grind Radio demo and the original Japanese version of Jet Set Radio. Aside from the usual chit chat, we show off out some of the regional differences and towards the end attempt to play the game using the Dreamcast maracas and fishing controller.
