'Magic Girls Festival' NEW Project Diva-like game
« on: March 18, 2015, 10:59:35 am »
Here is the info:

http://gematsu.com/2015/03/project-diva-like-magical-girls-festival-announced-for-ps-vita

It seems to be a crossover between many popular franchises in Japan, and it will be very similar to the project diva games.
I hope we can get it

I assume that's the anime project.

So much anime from Sega lately. Or really everything is anime.

BTW here is the very first anime project from Sega for the Master System in 1985

How I love old anime...

I'm so out of it, I don't recognize any of those anime (except for 575? but I didn't watch it or anything) except for Yuru Yuri because of that one girl in the image macros

I've only really ever watched Death Note, Hellsing and Berserk. Why can't Sega make a game based on one of those?

Good anime is few and far between, it's a cesspit of absolute crap but you've missed out on some good stuff!

You guys don't know 575?

What?! And you call yourself SEGA fans.

(It was a failed attempt at SEGA making their own Hatsune Miku)

I guess some members doesn't own PS Vita.
I'm happy that PS Vita isn't region locked so that we could play 575, Puyopuyo Tetris, and Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax (which surprisingly turned out to be localized).

WAIT, I just remembered I've also seen
Lots of Lupin III (Castle of Cagliostro being one of my all time favourite movies)
Gunsmith Cats
Vampire Hunter D, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
Akira
Ghost in the Shell

Sega should make a Gunsmith Cats game, shit would be off the chain.

And yeah, it's like Comics I guess, most of it falls into samey junky stuff, but there's some amazing works hidden throughout. I guess that goes for every medium ever though.

I think only about 3 people on the planet own a PS Vita. One of them forgot he owns it.

The fuck, I have a Vita?!

Seriously though, I'm way out of the loop with anime too. People talking about Berserk makes me want to throw on my DVDs.

Yeah those are all good, Anything by Studio Ghibli is worth a shot too and Cowboy Bebop is a great series. I like Trigun too but its an acquired taste I think.

^I did watch some of Cowboy Bebop, probably about 10 episodes or so. I liked it, but it was all kind of dis-jointed and I ended up dropping it just because I borrowed the DVDs and that's all I had. I wouldn't mind watching it again since it was quite good.

Haven't seen Trigun, I think Aki-at likes it though.

For me the best animes I've watched have been:

- Trigun (Cowboys and comedy with a hint of science fiction)
- Monster (Like holy moly so good, the best psychological thriller I've ever seen)
- GunGrave (Really different from the video game, more Godfather than science fiction like the game)
- Full Metal Alchemist (Just really well made with some great characters)

I'm sure there's more but I'm having trouble recalling. Recently I've been thinking of getting into this;

Seems so weird and funny, have read some good things about it.
