I'm reminded of one of my favourite songs which would probably fit the Super Monkey Ball series well.

Not too familiar with the song before, but hearing it I could indeed connect it to SMB.

Ken Penders Interview: Sonic Comic Writer To Finish What He Started

Quote
"I’m hoping my story inspires the next generation to do their own thing as opposed to playing in someone else’s sandbox.
I never saw Sonic as playing in someone else’s sandbox because Sonic didn’t exist when I began working in comics.
I didn’t grow up with the character the way today’s kids did."

I imagine at least half who worked on Archie Sonic were only there for the job than anything to do with Sonic... but the fact this guy never grew up with Sonic just makes him sound even more crudible.

(And yeah, I made up that word. I didn't know what the opposite of "incredible" was.)

On his defense (not that I liked him though) he also said ".... the way today’s kids did."
Back then Sonic games had almost no story at all.
Stories about Sonic were created by tv series dan comicbook writers ... which include him.

True. I guess I am cynical towards him with all he's done.

I don't wish death on him though as I notice some Sonic fans have. They should dial it down.

Sonic fans are sometimes scary.
2D vs 3D debate's still going on until now.
Even among 3Ds, there are always Unleashed vs Colors.
Why can't they just let others like what they like.
