Title: Sonic Mania - list your favourite levels.

So I've finished Sonic Mania 3 times now and let me tell you, it's possibly my new favourite Sonic game... I'm loving it. I want to know everyones favourite levels? I'm going to list my top 5 but you list them all in order if you want.

1) Press Garden - Both acts are awesomely inventive, fun to play, great to look at, nice music very unique aesthetic for a Sonic game... Couldn't get enough of this level.

2) Mirage Saloon - Another new and awesome level to play special shout out to Knuckles act 1... So good. Also [spoiler]Nack, Bean and Bark!!! Holy shit, did not expect that... So awesome.[/spoiler] Also loved the short plane intro, always loved those levels.

3) Chemical Plant - A special shout out to act 2, love that inventive level.

4) Green Hill - Yeah I know it's over used but it's still fun to play and probably the most fun to speed run... Just a classic.

5) Studiopolis - Great level design, great environment, incredible sound track.

Came to this thread wanting to say press garden. Good taste my man  8). Its my favourite of the new original stages and shows well what the team has in store.

Secondly flying battery zone cuz of its throwback to sky chase act 2 and sky base zone from master system. Act 2 has so many ideas thrown in i like it a lot.

I love the guest appearances from characters we haven't seen in a Sonic game in over 20 years.  :3  Oh right favorite zones.  Mirage Saloon Zone for sure.  :D

Metallic Madness Act 1 OST is so cool. I could hear the music all day...

I have two zones left before I can vote. I only have time to finish roughly one zone a night (kids, work, etc - keep me busy).

I've been loving every zone except the water ones frustrate me until I find the best path. Still not terribly hard though.

On music: the themes from Metallic Madness act 1 and Titanic Monarch act 2 are the real underrated stars of the OST.

I'm in love with almost every level. Mirage Saloon i think is my favorite overall though.

Finally beat the game and it is really hard to find my favorite level so I will mention the two I liked the LEAST.

Hydrocity and Lava Reef

Green Hill. That music never fails to get me going and remind me how great SEGA Japan was.

1. Mirage Saloon act 2 - I love the wild west setting and the inclusion of some LONG long long gone classic era characters.

2. Chemical Plant Act 2 - My favorite zone from Sonic 2 and my favorite gimmick in a long while, the bouncy goo with the ability to inject more bounciness into it was so cool.

Mirage Saloon Zone is just insane and even tho I am not a fan of Chemical Plant Zone, Act 2 of this level was just awesome,especially the boss fight !!!
