Title: Puzzle & Glory - mobile soft-launch for Canada
Post by: Randroid on June 09, 2015, 05:10:30 pm
New Sega mobile game by Demiurge was soft-launched today.

Appears to be a "match 3 jewels for something to happen" puzzler.

If you live in Canada (as I do), you can download it now (as I am).

Don't live in Canada, but I'm curious.
Does it play like Marvel Puzzle Quest?

Demiurge's Marvel Puzzle Quest is my favorite mobile game of all time.
If it played like that, I'd be very happy.

They should make 'SEGA Puzzle Quest' hundreds of SEGA characters doing exactly what Marvel Puzzle Quest does... But... SEGA. Yep.

That's a wonderful idea.
Marvel Puzzle Quest could even attract Marvel lovers who hates Candy Crush or any other match-3 before and turn them into daily players.
I bet Demiurge or SOA would be happy to do that, but still SOJ wouldn't allow that and told SOA to do 'Sonic Boom Puzzle Quest' instead.

Would be good, but ya know... better to just make a Puzzle & Dragons clone with a slightly different name... /sarcasm.

Posted about it in Marvel Puzzle Quest Forum and the developer has replied and said they'd be happy to hear our expert feedback through the settings menu.

What? And who is D3? They're just another publisher... Nothing to do with SEGA.

They published Demiurge's previous game, Marvel Puzzle Quest. That thread is in the forum of that game.

But where is SEGA puzzle quest?!

Sega of Japan forbid Sega of America to use their characters.
They suggested SOA to use alternative reality version of their characters,
like Streets of Rage Boom or Golden Axe Boom.  :P
