Audiocity HELP!
« on: June 12, 2010, 03:28:32 am »
Anyone know how to use Audiocity? I'm trying to edit a podcast... I saved the project last night, 'Save As' and it made a folder full of small sound clips in the audiocity file type. .Au audio.

All find and dandy until i come to open it today, I can't figure out how to import it back into Audiocity... Ive tired highlighting them all and draging them across but that imports every single peice seporate... Which is very wrong.

I looked on google and the fucking audiocity forum is down... cockmunchers.

HELP!?

OK, so

Audacity (when you save) creates 1 AUP file (that's the main one) and lost of AU files (it breaks the sound clip down so it can edit more effectively)

DO NOT TOUCH THE AU FILES! don't rename them or move them!

Open the AUP file and it should be fine. Everything should load correctly in the right order.

(Haven't used Audacity for a few years.)
