Most of the places I have seen still have Bayonetta for full price, or at least close to it. DarkSiders is already almost half off. I know this does not change much, but I think it should be considered.

Guess that "40/40 Famitsu scores that are given to games go on to sell extremely well" crap has to die out with a SEGA game. It should have been a Squeer game I tell ya!

Here's the new chart from Chart-Track.co.uk ending on Feb.12
While the number one entry of Bioshock 2 comes as virtually no surprise(as well as the mysterious Just Dance), the big surpise is both Bayonetta and Mario & Sonic At The Winter Olympic Games(DS version is currently the number 2 best selling item).

The most surprising being Bayonetta which jumped from 36th to 10th spot.

Bayonetta is the fifth best selling PS3 game, just under Dante's Inferno. 7th best on Xbox 360.

Good word of mouth and markdown from some retailers sure did a number on it.
M&S 2 also bumped 6 spots from 17th to 11th.

And Football Manager is staying strong at 28th.

Vancouver 2010 is still showing up at the bottom of both PS360 charts.

Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll debuted at number 17th on the Wii charts, nothing too major. M&S 1 still at number 12.

Aaaand PS0 debuted at number 35 on the DS charts. Guess Sega didn't have much confidence in this title, probably because it made it's back on US sales(and japanese ones) alone.

According to leaked Famitsu numbers, End of Eternity has crossed over 200,000 units combined between the two versions. The Playstation 3 one sold 166,000 whilst the Xbox360 version sold 37,000. Currently it's 12th in the Japanese charts.

Well selling a million in Japan isn't too bad. Confused why it hasn't sold well in the states. But then again i haven't seen this game advertised on TV over here unlike AvP which is all over the place at the moment.

Guess it depends on what the final overall tally is and if it met Sega's expectations. Conduit was a success for them to push on with the next game with HV and that was only available in two markets, so I think Tri ace's relationship with Sega should continue for the next game.

It looks like it'll make it to about 200,000, which is about what the Star Ocean 4 managed, isn't it? And I'm sure they get more lucrative terms from Sega than Square Enix.

Valkyria Chronicles seems to be doing pretty good.

Didn't know SEGA Superstars tennis was still selling.  That means All-Stars Racing will probably sell well.

I hope Sega makes a tennis + racing deal with Microsoft.

Like i said depends on the western sales. On paper Sega should upass this with their western release. The problem Sega has is Marketing. Sega seems to have trouble capturing the goodwill towards their company at the moment and turning that into sales. MW failed simply because they advertised in the wrong places and not to the people they needed to reach. If they can market this game at the right places then they should get more sales than the ones that they will already get mainly sega fans and rpg gamers.

154) Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz 5,623 848,126

Sega in 2nd 518,709  1,951,982

Wow. I was definitely not expecting Aliens v Predator to sell anywhere near that well. Maybe about half that. I was personally expecting a debut closer to about 95,000 on the X360 and about 65,000 on the PS3. So, kudos to Sega.

Bayonetta, on the other hand, is doing remarkably poorly. What the hell happened here?

Sonic's Ultimate Game Collection

They marketed Bayonetta as some gross fetish game, so no one purchased it.

You'd think there are more than 300,000 perverts in America though.

I'm quite surprised at how AvP is doing compared to other titles...

Latest Chart-Track indicates that it jumped to the nº1 spot knocking out Bioshock 2 and Just Dnace from their top spot.

Mario & Sonic jumped from 11th to 8th, no doubt the Winter Olympics having an effect on sales.

And the surprise reentry into the top 40 charts with Vanocuver 2010 at the 11th spot.

And FM 2010 is still hanging in at 25.

Bayonetta seems to be doing much better bussiness in Europe as it's still in 16th place.

Very good week for Sega.
