‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ Runs to No. 1 Spot on Disc Sales Charts

Paramount Home Entertainment’s Sonic the Hedgehog 3 debuted at No. 1 on the Circana VideoScan chart, which tracks combined DVD and Blu-ray Disc unit sales, and the dedicated Blu-ray Disc sales chart the week ended April 19.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was released on disc only on DVD or variants of a Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD combo pack with standard or Steelbook packaging available. The HD combo pack accounted for 54% of the title’s first-week sales. Accordingly, it also topped the dedicated 4K disc sales chart during the week.
