SEGA has quietly rolled out a new model of their arcade exclusive game, House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn

The idea here is to provide a similar experience at a lower cost, allowing more locations to grab the game than previously. Sega really did go to town on making the SDLX version immersive (as noted in this below review on the AH YouTube channel), to the extent that it priced out some operators, so it’s good that they are still keeping an eye on providing some options for the little guys.
As indicated by it already appearing at that French location mentioned earlier, orders are open and cabinets are now shipping in Europe to any interested buyers. These are also being built in Chicago at the moment, so it should begin showing up at ...

OutRun Film in the Works at Universal Pictures with Michael Bay and Sydney Sweeney Attached to the Project

With numerous SEGA franchises receiving film and TV adaptations following the massive success of the Sonic the Hedgehog movies, this latest announcement comes as a surprise: Universal Pictures is developing a feature adaptation of SEGA AM2’s iconic arcade driving game, OutRun, with Michael Bay attached to direct and Sydney Sweeney onboard as a producer. The script will be written by Jayson Rothwell for the upcoming film.

Now that I'm old enough, I can go to Sega World London, as I always wanted to when I was a kid but was never allowed because I was too young!
But I decided to go when I am old enough.

We grew up, saved enough money, able to go anywhere ... but at what cost?
