"After ten thousand years, the once-banished Dark Ninja returns to make another attempt to take over the Miracle World.
Someone's definitely got to stop him! Guess who dares to meet the challenge?

I forgot Alex Kidd went to Shinobi world. Wasn't he the first mascot to did crossovers with other games owned by the same company?

Not including Donkey Kong who started on a Mario game.

Wasn't Pac-Man showing up in Kick before AKiSW?
Or that's considered as guess staring, not crossover?

Hm... dunno. Back the the definition of cameo and crossover wasn't set in stone. Might had been more of a cameo.

I think cameo if he only showed up for a brief moment.
But in this game he and the ghosts showed up all the time at the later levels.

60hz Normal Game Speed Hack of Shinobi X - Shin Shinobi Den (Sega Saturn)

Quote
This hack converts the 50hz PAL release of Shinobi X - Shin Shinobi Den (aka Shinobi Legions) to run at 60hz NTSC, with normal game speed.
This release of the game contains a new soundtrack in the style of Yuzo Koshiro’s contributions to The Revenge of Shinobi.
You will need a Redump compliant copy of the game and emulator or ODE capable of running CUE/BIN dumps.
It is verified to work on a JP VA0 Model 1 with Fenrir 20-pin, JP Model 2 Saturn with Satiator, and SSF R26.
Lunar IPS was used to create the patch and test on unmodified copies.

Who thought it was a good idea to let a ninja into Jurassic Park?

That should have happened in 16-Bit era.

Imagine :
Before ... you played Alex Kidd in Shinobi World
Now... Play SHINOBI IN JURASSIC PARK WORLD !!!

Moonrider Is A Project That Has 16-Bit Strider And Shinobi Vibes

Intriguingly this started out as a side-project for Dias.
Way back in January 2017 he posted initial progress on the outerspace.com forum, with an early version of stage 1-1 completed at that time.
It now seems to be a fully-fledged project in the JoyMasher team. On the studio's own YouTube channel, which seems to be mostly used for in-progress videos as opposed to trailers and promotion, there are multiple videos of Moonrider in the form of stage previews and soundtrack clips.

Can you imagine if they take SHinobi in that direction? After him defeating Zeed, ends up fighting various tropes like dinosaurs, cowboys, pirates or something like that per game.

Or make them separated.

Shinobi in Wild West World
Shinobi in Atlantic World
Shinobi in Greek Mythologies World

Sound great, right?

I always like bosses in Shinobi games :

They always look cool and scary.
Many bosses from different tropes would make it more epic.

Yes, kinda sad since Shinobi was the first true ninja platformer experience in arcade.
Shinobi's coming first in 1987, while Ninja Gaiden's in 1988.

Also people tend to forget that Ninja Gaiden started as a beat em up game.
Ninja who punches and kicks the enemies openly.

Yeah what sucks is Sega were founders to video game genres that are still being used to this day, but the founding games are mostly backseated to the modern audience.

For example, you like popular fighting games like Tekken, Dead or Alive or SoulCalibur? You have Virtua Fighter to thanks for that.

Not very Ninja-like is it? Sounds like Ninja Gaiden was trying to rip off Streets of Rage. Then Sega made an even better ninja game and NG ripped off Shinobi. But the rip-off ended up more popular than Shinobi.
