Panzer Dragoon: Remake – A Wing in the Right Direction

Quote
At the end of the day, this is what probably matters most; this is Panzer Dragoon with better graphics.
It’s not the best game in the series, still too basic to get a whole lot out of it, but its core is still shining through. It’s a good game, and playing this game at something higher than twenty frames per second is enough to sell me on it, so yeah, you like rail shooters and haven’t played it? Go for it.
It’s cheaper than a Saturn and a copy of the original.

Panzer Dragoon Orta : An Incredible Adventure from Start to Finish

Quote
Accompanying gorgeous visuals is a brilliant soundtrack of thumping techno, tribal woodwinds, and synthetic wailing, coming together to make the action as good to listen to as it is to watch.
Along with exemplary sound design, you’ve simply got one of the best presentations currently available on the One’s OG Xbox library.

While not everyone has received their physical copy of Panzer Dragoon: Remake The Definitive Soundtrack, we’ve received some confirmations that the CD and signed vinyl orders are now shipping.
For some people the parcel has already arrived, as demonstrated in this unboxing by Instagramer st3fan.tech.

With a "TBA" release date, it is unclear at this time if a 2021 release date for Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake is still feasible, or if MegaPixel’s “TBA” means the release window will be pushed to 2022 or even beyond.

Round Table: Our favorite SEGA developed Saturn games

Quote
Panzer Dragoon is, in my opinion, the best Saturn title available at launch.
Beautifully rendered 3D graphics, addicting arcade-style gameplay with one of the most exciting soundtracks ever recorded.
It also appealed to hardcore gamers, creating a challenging experience even on the easiest setting.
Less than a year later, Panzer Dragoon II Zwei took everything that made the original great and improved upon two-fold.
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei embodies everything I love about the Saturn.
Arcade-like thrills with imaginative visuals, great music and gameplay that will keep you hooked long after you’ve beaten the game.

Developer Retrospective: We take flight with SEGA’s Team Andromeda

Quote
The SEGA Saturn’s surprise early launch in America is considered one of the most disastrous mistakes in the history of the video game industry.
It angered SEGA’s third party publishers and retail partners, it allowed Sony to get the drop on the Saturn with a lower price point and it ultimately destroyed SEGA’s dominance in the American market, financially crippling SEGA permanently.
The launch did have a bright spot though: it introduced the games of SEGA’s Team Andromeda to the West.

Khinsider Has Removed 500+ Albums Related to Sega

Quote
"Segapocalypse!
Wave Master, the company that manages Sega's music, has contacted me and asked me to remove lots of albums related to Sega.
At the end of the day, over 500 albums were removed, including Sonic, OutRun, and others.
Unfortunately, this even included fan made compilation albums for games that have no commercial releases, which, quite frankly, makes absolutely no sense.
If you were wondering why some albums have disappeared on the site, this is why."
