Agreed it's a great game and the soundtrack is amazing.


I've played all in the modern reboot with the exception of Shining Road and Shining Wind X what with them being Japan Mobile games.


They cover a lot of plot points.

That's neat. I presume you can read Japanese then?

You know sometimes I don't get why some Shining Forces fans hates modern series to the point of always bashing them in the SEGA Facebook or Twitter page whenever it mentioned.
Kinda like how some Shin Megami Tensei fans hates Persona series.
As for me, both series could co-exist together, like 3D Sonic and 2D Sonic.

Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness coming to mobile

Hive, the Japanese subsidiary of Korean company Vespa has acquired the rights from SEGA to develop a new title and announced Shining Force: Hikari to Yami no Eiyuu (tentative)(Heroes of Light and Darkness).
The new game will launch in the first half of 2022 worldwide as a free-to-play title with item-based in-app purchases.
