From the makers of the excellent Splosion Man, comes an interesting looking brawler/scrolling shooter game.

Love the teaser! Reminds me of MDK2's intro.

I can't wait for people to call this "innovative"

Looks cool though.

Surprised it took this long for us to finally see gameplay of it, but I have to admit it looks excellent. Actually even though I liked 'Splosion Man so much I am surprised at how good this looks.

You can tell by the general style and gameplay that these guys are huge SEGA Genesis fans, that is a huge plus in my book.  8-)

Maybe it's just me but this doesn't look as good as Splosion Man to me. I feel a lot of the humour falls a bit flat for one thing, and the beat em up segment looked pretty odd. Like the animation and attacks were really stiff looking.

Then again it might be early days still, and considering how excellent Splosion man was (Probably the best platformer I've played this gen, I liked it more than Sawnik Unleeshed even), I'm sure it will turn out nicely.

I'm looking forward to seeing it change styles for different levels.

I'm really hoping there is a cool gimmick to Captain Smiley. What I loved about splosion man was, obviously, the explosions and the ability to do double, triple and quadruple jumps. As it stands, Smiley just seems to run, jump, punch and shoot.
