There is not much else to say, as it is a rumor, beyond obviously that would be a great thing, although personally I would prefer an original IP from the Isolation team.
The source is the PSU site that cites the new OPM number.

Can't help that SEGA has missed a trick with a new Alien film about to come out, we really should have had a game ready to come out this year. At the very least it be nice to see SEGA make Isolation VR compatible.
Still hope to see a new Alien game

I can see this being true. They have said in the past they'd be interested and were throwing ideas around, but time and direction are two things they needed to really think about before going ahead. I'd be happy to see another one personally as the team really nailed the look, feel and tone of the first alien film.

To be honest I feel they have too much on their plate right now, however If it's true it would be quite cool.

According to Eurogamer's sources, the rumor is not true. (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-04-26-alien-isolation-2-rumour-isnt-true) Place your bets!

Pretty sure Eurogamer are quite accurate on these sort of things, so I'd be inclined to agree with them. Maybe later down the line we'll see another AI game, but we'll see.

I need this to be true.... I NEED IT.
AI:VR at a discount price, followed swiftly by AI:2... Yes, yes BUENO!
