Blue spheres made my head dizzy. I can't really stand it.

They're the worst. I mean I know Special Stages are suppose to incorporate a sense of motion and confusion because "chaos" but Blue Sphere is the worst.
This one?

I thought they're working just fine.
On console at least.
I only played Shenmue I & II and Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 on Steam. Shenmue seems to work alright but can't say the same for Sonic Adventure 1 and 2.
Sonic Adventure is just a mess to the point it took the community to make a BetterSADX to fix most of it. But at least it runs, unlike Sonic Adventure 2 which barely runs on modern computers. I mean, my copy of SA2B on Steam just doesn't run at all now and I dunno how to fix it.
May be there are other unlockable things other than
There will be new collectibles. Such as tokens, seeds, purple coins and what-not.
SEGA isn't just Sonic. Yakuza, maimai, Total War, Chunithm, Football Manager, PSO2, and Judgment are things that Nintendo wouldn't be able to catch up.
I don't think Nintendo feels threaten by Sega at all. Even Sonic Frontiers is obviously inspired by Breath of the Wild. By Nintendo's perspective that would make them the influencers.
It's kind of sad and ironic. Sega left the console market because they knew making their games accessable to multiple platforms would help sell well. But people still think Sega downgraded from consoles to software development while Nintendo still makes consoles and games exclusive to their own consoles, yet still have a Disney-like monopoly on the video game industry.

Would Sega be better off continue making consoles and rivaling Nintendo? Probably not given they were struggling to keep up with the industry and being multi-platformed means more games accessible to all. But despite my reluctance on buying a PS4-5 and a Switch, I would still buy the latest Sega console if it was still going because I know exactly what I'd be getting from it.
I see. I guess my kids and may be most of who played it never found that exploit.
Finding these exploits aren't that very hard though it helps if you're high-leveled. Speed Simulator gameplay is rather accurate to Sonic Adventure right down to physics and momentum so it's easy to launch yourself like a rocket off simple ledges. From fighting the right nichés in the boundaries of the stages you can find a few exploits.

Reminds me of the Are You Afraid of the dark reboot.

Yes. Already hated it in Sonic 3, then imagine my reaction back then when they included them again in Mania but not only that, they are f*ck** necessary to be played to unlock contents.

Wow I didn't know they were that bad.
I did have them on my Steam (bought them when they were heavily discounted) but I almost never touched them.
I still have Gamecube versions and they were always my way to go since I still keep my Wii (Gamecube games are playable on Wii).

Yep, me too.
I even bought that Game Gear Micro.
The red one which has Columns and Shinobi GG.

Mega Drive Mini too since they were available on my local store.
Gonna pass Mega Drive Mini 2 though since it's only available on Amazon and the tax + shipping cost are very pricy.

I'd much rather play through a series of Mania's special stages. They were fun!
Wow I didn't know they were that bad.

You're better off with the Gamecube and Wii versions of these games. If you ever decide to play the Steam version of Sonic Adventure 1 I highly advice you to get BetterSADX mod for it. And if you get Sonic Adventure 2 for Steam, good luck getting it to run let alone at correct FPS speed. The FPS issue can easily be fixed though. Whenever the game will run or not is another issue.

I decided against on buying a Game Gear Micro. It's just too damn small for me.

I see. I don't think my kids are high-leveled in Speed Simulator, they always play for jokes and laughs.
If they're having fun playing the game then they're doing it right.

I could never touch my computer for games.
My kids always use it for Minecfart and Roblox, lol.
Guess I'll stick with Gamecube version for now.

That's why it's never sold for the west, only for Japan and Asia.
It's still playable for Asian people's hands.

Yeah, latest youtube video impression is kinda good too.

SEGAbits @ EGX London 2022: Sonic Frontiers Hands-On Preview

Quote
I ended up clocking over 45 minutes on this demo and loved many moments to it, but there were some rough edges around it.
But for me, the positives outweighed the negatives so much that I was able to look past the annoying pop-in and the off-putting 2D physics because I was having so much fun with every other element of the game.
The bosses all have their own unique patterns that you have to consider and can have several ways to take them down.
The exploration that Sonic games were famed for is back but now, there is a reason to check every different route in the Open Zone and the combat felt fast and snappy.

The one that has international release (besides MD Mini) is Astro City Mini.
Still there are westerners complain that this one is too small for then.

Good. Though I imagine critics will pick it apart after release.

Of course they're gonna find something to complain about for clickbait.
It's nothing new.
May be they'll add something unrelated too in the thumbnail.

I've seen that thumbnail around but know it's shit. Why would Pikachu be on a boat with Sonic?

It's intended for general mass I guess, who loves both movies / characters but never touch the games.
Not everyone is into video games so they never read any news of it and have no idea who owns who.
