The game was still absurdly long with the cut content. Wasn't most of it dating game bullshit anyway?

Yeah, the hostess clubs. I've never been able to get into those because they mostly seem like trial-and-error to me. Some people have told me they are winnable if you pay close attention to what the hostesses say, but the things they say aren't really very specific, and the way to 'win' them is to figure out what gifts they want based on their vague statements, or what kind of cologne to wear, etc.

Now, the massage minigame is actually kinda fun and funny, win or lose.

I enjoyed Dead Souls. It was fun. Controls hold it back from being perfect though.

Think Yakuza 4 crossed with Zombie Revenge.

I'd say it's worth having for 6 bucks.

eh, it had it's moments (most of them involving Majima and sometimes Akiyama), the controls weren't the greatest which is especially true when dealing with bosses.  If you can put up with it, then yea, $6 is okay I suppose...at least Premium Adventure mode is still there and you can run around with the DLC costumes.

That's one benefit of 1st party getting involved.  Probably the most exposure Yakuza gotten in North America since the first game. lol
