Post by: MetaKraken_PSN on February 12, 2010, 01:43:24 pm
Post up the games you're looking forward to buy them!

Games I'm looking forward to:

PlayStation 3:

ModNation Racers
Blur
Split Second
Demon's Souls
Yakuza 3
White Knight Chronicles (US version)
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Gran Turismo 5
Grand Theft Auto IV: EOLC

360:

Sonic 4
SASAR
...

That's about it for now. I'm a blue skies nut. All those gritty, uber-realistic shooting games don't appeal to me. Exceptions are if they're from Sega. However, I am looking forward to getting these already released games:

Arkham Asylum
The Force Unleashed
the XBLA Banjo-Kazooie games

Red Dead Redemption
The Last Guardian
Whatever Suda and Mikami are cooking up under EA (wasn't excited at first, but now that Akira Yamaoka, Silent Hill composer joined the team, I'm interested)

Sega games:
Yakuza 3
Vanquish
SEGA Japan next projects...

Sonic Adventure - XBLA
AfterBurner Climax - XBLA

Only Kogen and Sanus picked AfterBurner Climax.

The rest of you have to have a better hard look at yourself, such inhumane selection choices, opting out ABC, how could you!? A crime against man!

You should check out Mafia and Mafia 2. It's kinda like Yakuza but set in the 1930s/1950s America. Actually it's not like Yakuza at all, but it's a brilliant story driven crime game.

And on that note my list reads something like

- Mafia 2
- Red Dead Redemption
- Super Street Fighter IV
- No More Heroes 2 (not in Australia yet)
- Alpha Protocol

Probably a bunch of others I can't think of right now.

I'm actually a bit wary of Natal myself, especially now that Hayes has said he sees that as a platform for 'Multiplayer and Party games'...

I have to announce that I am no longer interested in Samurai Spirtis Sen, I read a review for the game here (http://http://xbox360.gamezone.com/gzreviews/r39844.htm). And it's clear it's not even worth the budget release. Oh, well... Live and Learn...

The only game i'm confident in is metroid prime 4 for some reason. It's because nintendo has been quite on a roll in game design so i'm curious what this one's going to bring. Maybe I forgot many others but cant think of any yet
