Title: Doodle Jump is SEGA's franchise ?

Kinda dumb question, but I need to make sure..
So I noticed recently that Japanese version of Doodle Jump has SEGA name on its website..

Does that mean Doodle Jump is now SEGA's franchise ?

SEGA is helping distribute the game in Japan.
