Well since we're talking about nintendo. They're revealing their plans tomorrow.

Kind of curious how theyre gonna handle e3 this year. Wish they did conferences again

As much as I like conferences, their Nintendo Direct and Nintendo Treehouse were a couple of the best things from E3 2014. I wouldn't mind it if they did the same formula this year.

I wish more publishers did that. They are more well edited, well put together and more entertaining that 90% of the actual E3 stage conferences. They are fucking boring, lets be honest.

LMAO!!

Anyways, i agree with CrazyT, i prefer legit Conferences, not Nintendo Direct bs. Mainly cause i can't stand Iwata, you want to talk about boring, listening to that guy for a few mins drive me nuts.

You know you'd probably get more Iwata with a press conference than with a Nintendo Direct, right?

Also, not sure if I'd call him boring seeing how he does stuff like this:

In all seriousness now.

If Konami can do press conferences, why can't Sega?
Well thought out presentations could bring in a lot of attention to our games.

Because doing a press conference costs a lot of money, and with SEGA America re-structuring they don't have time anyway.

I still don't see why gamers care about conferences, they are always cringy and shitty.

I'm wondering if this is Reggie following up on him saying he'd try to get better at playing Super Smash Bros. like he implied at the Invitational and EVO last year?

Dunno, I'm probably still hoping that someday it'll return to the professionalism it once had. I also love seeing all of the ads in downtown LA when I'm by the Convention Center.

It's funny E3 has been losing credibility ever since they excluded booth babes

I really don't get how E3 is losing credibility. Maybe when it comes to the press being able to play games, as there are plenty of events for that now. Mostly public, but usually those have press days or behind closed doors stuff.

But when it comes to news, it hasn't really lost that much. Lots of stuff still gets revealed, and this year even has more presentations than usual. Publishers usually still save their biggest games for it.

It's not worth the time and money for the anaemic release schedule they are running with.

You just answered you're own question. It's like watching a car accident.

Nintendo's Digital Event held at the same time as Square Enix's press conference. Woops.
