I wouldn't mind the theme, but makes the story more memorable.
I do like Scorpion King when I watched it back then but to tell the truth I forgot most the story of it.
The only thing that I remember that it has Kelly Hu nude scenes.

I honestly forgot there were four other sequels to this movie, none of them with Dwayne Johnson in it.

They're really not that memorable.
There is also comic version. I had it back then but I don't remember what the story was.

Well Scorpion King by itself  was still a pretty decent movie even if the story was mostly forgettable. Like if you had enough of 1982 Conan the Barbarian movie but want something like it for an evening then Scorpion King is a good choice. Like if you want that "fix" than a full Conan thing.

It really is. I enjoyed Scorpion King a lot more than Prince of Persia.

The Atari Jaguar Almost Got Alex Kidd, Altered Beast, Streets of Rage, Phantasy Star, Golden Axe, Shinobi, Wonder Boy and ESWAT

Quote
Shortly after the deal was signed, Sam Tramiel suffered a heart attack and control of Atari Corp was passed back to his ageing father, Jack.
With the prospect of seriously challenging Sony, Nintendo and Sega in the upcoming next-gen console war getting slimmer each month, the elder Tramiel wisely decided it was time to get out of the video game business and brokered a reverse merger with hard drive maker JTS on July 30th, 1996.
Atari, and the Jaguar, were dead.
As you can see from these scanned documents, Sega was willing to ...

Yep. As much as I would love a Golden Axe film inspired by Conan the Barbarian film, wouldn't mind it in style of Scorpion King either. Right levels of cheesy, violent yet adventurous.

I can see where Ax-Battler got his good looks.

Just don't forget to add dragons in it though... Chicken Legs too, but not as vital as dragons for me.

Ax-Wrestler !

She reminds me of Onion Knight from Dissidia.

And would fit the Saturn game (The Duel) more than the arcade and Mega Drive ones.

You sure this isn't just AI generated art?

It definelity is. He already mentioned that he uses "Night Cafe Studio" (an AI Art generator program).
Not many artists were this honest.

I think the Chicken Legs are more vital and recognisable than the dragon mounts.
The dragon mounts simply look like generic ridable drakes, while the cockatri or "chicken legs" have more a distinct design recognisable to the Golden Axe and altered Beast games.

Ax-Wrestler !
Wouldn't be smart to wrestle an axe.
And would fit the Saturn game (The Duel) more than the arcade and Mega Drive ones.
She would probably be a bit over the top in design i comparison to the others but then again The Duel felt mostly its own thing than a Golden Axe game.

Ah OK, I just noticed the weirdness in it.

Guide: Best Golden Axe Games - Every Golden Axe Game Ranked

Quote
Released in 1992, just as the popularity of the belt-scrolling fighter was starting to wane and Street Fighter II fever was taken over arcades, Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder is undoubtedly the pinnacle of the entire series.
Running on Sega's powerful System 32 arcade board, it features smooth scaling, gorgeous animation, massive enemies and wonderfully evocative music.
It's also a total overhaul of the first game (unlike the Mega Drive Golden Axe II, which is ...
