The Twitter Q&A left me a bit unsure now that I'm looking at it. "More then 11 chapter" ...does Yu Suzuki not see a limit is needed? We don't need branching stories etc.

The thing is way back before Shenmue came out . Yu Suzuki said the game would go up to 16 chapters and that it could past 21 chapters if the back story was to be told . Shenmue is massive and I've always said it never be finish with Shenmue III

Wait, he means things like back story etc and not the main story? If so, then I'm fine with that. I thought he was saying the main plot will keep going and going...

16 Chapters for the main story that was all confirmed before the DC even launched in the USA  , over 20 for the back story (but not really needed)

Ah, now I get it. And Suzuki's already said we can get Ryo's story by 4/5 games. That's the only bit I care about :)

I give them credit, since they've apologised I don't think there hasn't been a day where they've not interacted or done something to keep it going. The boost of a physical copy has really pushed this.

If SEGA do agree to remaster the first two I can see this skyrocketing again. Heck, if they allowed Yu Suzuki to make a trilogy boxed edition for backers, that would jump it further!
