Looking to rent a place in Boston
« on: August 30, 2010, 10:31:20 am »
I need to rent an Apartment/Condo whatever for my parents in Boston.

Preferably in these areas:
Fenway, Mission hill, Brook Line, Jamaica Plain

Obviously Craig's List is pretty famous for renting places, but since we have so many American's on this site, I thought some one may know of something more economical for me?

Most people that are broke live just outside a big city, not in it. Due to cheaper prices.

They could live with me, only a 5 hour drive to Boston. We'd have a blast! They'd return home and say "you should stop saying mean things about that Barry, he's such a sweet guy!"

5 hour drive? LOL that is walking distance!

You guys will just get angry at each other when Cube says something you don't like and you two will draw a line in the apartment and promise not to go into each others half.

Then you'd find out you made a mistake when Cube got the front door, kitchen and restroom in his half.

I live about 2 days and 2 hours away from Boston. :)

If this happens can you two make a sitcom about how you hate each other but are also dependant on each other and comedy insues?

^ Sold!

I'd need cube to help me finally complete Sonic's White Acropolis stage, and cube would need me to put in a good word with the gov't to let him stay a bit longer. Episode titles include "can't we kinect?", "who ate all the pudding!", "We're gonna party like it's 2006!" and "don't call me cubert"

Mademan guest stars as my crazy landlord

Before hopping into the thread I was like, "wow, who would've thought Sega fans knew so much about Real Estate I was just expecting a comment or maybe 2"

And then I read 11 useless comments, not even a single alternate to Craig List.

It appears with the exception of Barry, no one even read that I am renting a place for my parents, not myself. So our sitcom will have to wait till September 2011.

Also I am a US resident so that "stay longer" joke doesn't make any sense.

That means we can move from a mini-series to an outright series! "Cube.S.A" :D

I'd recommend checking student apartment areas. Yeah, it's your parents who aren't students, but I'm certain a good number of students travel abroad for studies and in turn lease their apartments out.

haha haha, man I don't know what's wrong with me, but I just imagined us as room mates, I should go to bed.

The 4 areas I listed in the post are student areas my parents are going to visit my elder siblings in Uni, I just needed to know an alternate to Craig List.

Thanks, anyway.
