Title: What are some good recipes you know of?
Post by: Happy Cat on July 10, 2011, 05:49:20 am
Just curious to see if anyone here knows of any good recipes.

I've been looking at them online tonight trying to find new stuff to eat, while at the same time trying to eat healthy.

You can post any recipe here though, doesn't have to be healthy =P I'm interested to see what people know of / like.

I know loads! Eell, I use loads from epicurious and realsimple. Both are great resources for easy but great recipes. I prefer stuff that is 45 minutes or less.

We made this one yesterday, really really good: Cherry Tomato Pizza Margherita

This is another favorite of mine, we usually make it once a month: Meatballs With Sautéed Chard
http://www.realsimple.com/food-recipes/browse-all-recipes/meatballs-chard-recipe-00000000020567/index.html
The pine nuts and raisins make for a fantastic meatball.

I'll post more when I think of them.

Chicken Stroganoff: You need a ton of ingredients, but it's easy, just throw everything into a pot and stir.

I know so many... but I'm going to recommend this becuase its pretty easy and it is FUCKING GREAT.

1 can of ('Hinez' brand) baked beans
2 Eggs
1 peice of bread

Baked beans in the microwave for a minuite, toast the bread and fry the eggs... cut the toast into bite size peices and put it on the place, mash the fried eggs into the beans until its all mixed in then pour it over the toast peices.

Its that simple, you WILL thank me.

Here's a simple recipe that's a delight for kids.

The one-eyed Jack:

Cut a hole in slice of white beard, fry it on a pan with butter, break an egg into the hole and flip. Serve when both sides are golden and the egg is fried.
