Title: Segabit's New Year's Resolution?
Post by: Wilhelm on December 25, 2010, 11:04:42 am
I don't know if your suppose to actually share what your Resolution is. I can't remember.
But Im pretty sure it's wishes your not suppose to tell people.

So just to start up a nice holiday discussion that isn't involving getting gifts and spending money.

What is your New Years Resolution.
And for the young-lings that don't know what that is: it's a promise maded on New Years to yourself to change someone about yourself for the better: such as quit smoking, loose weight, stop swearing, move up in your career, get married etc etc etc.

I'll share mine: I made this a double whammy since I got alot of things I have to approve on but these are the most important
- Quit Smoking
- Quit Swearing

Those two alone give people the wrong idea of me every time.

So how about you guys?

I guess keep up the healthier living that I took up half-way through this year is the biggest thing. I lost about 15 KG (33 lbs) earlier year and I've been able to keep it off so far, I'm at a good weight now and hope to keep that!

I've got to get back in marathon shape once the surgery recovery is finally done.
I also plan on getting hired on by a Police Service.

What surgery did you recover from?

I have been having anxiety attacks for the past month, pretty badly. Followed by depression. So I hope to improve this for New Years as well.

It's a bit unpleasant.
[spoiler:1hq1yx8l]I had an infection on my tailbone from repeated stress caused by a certain type of crunches. It was a recurring issue, and I ended up having a big chunk of meat removed. Because of the location they can't sew the wound up. I've had a nurse coming to my house every day for the past 3 months to change the dressing. They just added less and less gauze over time.[/spoiler:1hq1yx8l]
It's almost healed up, but I've missed a lot of work, and haven't been able to run/swim.  I was running 9km every 2nd night and swimming once or twice a week, so it's been a pretty big downer to be out of commission for a good chunk of the past year.

Ah, I hope it gets better. I'm sure you will be delighted in the long run for having the surgery.

Physiological problems we are all prone to them.
Get well soon, wishing you a speedy recovery.

That's a really good one.

Thanks man. I'm in Sault Ste. Marie, so it's just been really cold for the past while. We haven't gotten nearly as much snow as you guys lately.

Im going to mix it up. 2011 Im going to drink more, play video games more and get into some very twisted fetishes. like a knee cap fetish or maybe something involving Harry Potter roleplay. ... or just resolve to be helpful and supportive in the wedding planning. And I totally need to stick a SEGA reference into the ceremony.

Then the first time she bumps into something the ring will bounce away and dissapear after a few seconds.

My TRUE and HONEST New Years Resolutions.

-  Try a lot harder to keep my promises.

- Work harder at everything I do, learn to focus better overall.

- Try to become a valuable family member.

- Establish me and my friend's site as a pretty cool fansite that Sharky does not secretly want to see crash and burn.

- Keep swearing down to a minimal (I honestly rarely do it in real life, but it is still something I rather not do ever).

- Stop using little cartoon girls as avatars, people talk.

- Stop being such a dingus, for my health. (http://http://www.tgttm.com/jefferton/images/smilies/17937957048544d4f3a86d.gif)

EDIT: I already broke two.

I have one. I send a lot of e-mails to friends. I don't mind them answering back with stuff like "That's lame." or "That's cool!" or whatever.

What I don't like is when people answer me in one of the following ways:
-"Dude, how do you know this?"
-"Dude, you spent too much time on Youtube!"
-"Dude, you have too much free time."

My resolution this year will be, if anybody replies to me by e-mail with one or these three answers, they will receive an e-mail reply containing just the following words in deep black font and extra large: "F*** You", but without this filter.

I'm sorry to have to do this, but I've been having a lousy week and I am so sick of this.

^Sorry to hear you've had a rough week, maybe you should go into Hobo Man mode for a bit. Growing an unkempt stubble always cheers me up at least.

Max Candy, how many times have you said that so far this year :D

I've said it at least sixty times to my boss so far ahhaha.

Man, it seems so long ago when I wrote this.

Having a job now really helped me in more ways than one.
