« Last post by itsstillthinking1999 on January 15, 2018, 09:42:41 am »
For those wanting to follow updates on this its best to follow Dreamcast-Live Or Dreamcast-Talk for the latest news and also get updates for new Dreamcast games or Games that are coming back online like NFL 2K1

Taken from DC-Talk
Download here:

"Dreamcast fans had reason to get excited when video surfaced of the highly-anticipated, yet cancelled Dreamcast adventure game Agartha surfaced for the first time last summer. The game, which was developed by French developer No Cliché, was shown in playable form after it was found in a bundle of GD-ROMs that was bought on eBay.

Now, it appears that Laurent C., who has many Dreamcast prototypes in the past, has come into possession of the Agartha code and plans to release it online on Jan. 15. We're not quite sure how much of the game is playable at this time, however, but we've been told that Frederick Raynal, the former director of No Cliché, is involved in some form with this release."
The Website of the Dead / HOUSE OF THE DEAD ~SCARLET DAWN~ (2018 Arcade Game)
« Last post by Berto on January 14, 2018, 11:08:01 pm »

SEGA Interactive has just announced House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn for arcades. They have confirmed that there will be location testing from January 19 to the 21st at SEGA Akihabara Building 3 in Tokyo, Japan. This release will mark a return of the franchise to the Arcades, the last main entry being The House of the Dead 4 back in 2005. In 2009 we got the console exclusive The House of the Dead: Overkill, which was meant to be a prequel and had a different take on the series.

House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn is confirmed to be running on Unreal Engine 4 and has confirmed it will get a theater-style deluxe arcade cabinet which will have vibrating seats. The cabinet will also use motion sensors. Who knows, maybe if VR catches on, SEGA can have a easy port on their hands.

For what the cabinet looks like and screenshots go here :

That's great to hear! Congrats!

I had a baby (well, my wife had it) in 2017.

Last month we shared the news that Retro-bit would be creating USB, bluetooth and classic controllers for the SEGA Genesis, Saturn and Dreamcast, with the products debuting at CES 2018. Well CES 2018 is happening now, and images of the Retro-bit SEGA products are online! The community section of the RGT 85 Facebook page and Madlittlepixel show us just what we can expect from the new line of products.

How so?
Lots of achievements that may seem normal for a lot of people but for me they were kind of getting me back to sanity. Got a new job, got to know great people, my girl and have been living in a better place. It all came together in 2017 for some reason while before every year was just another year of me having sort of a good time, playing video games but nothing noteworthy to mention. I'm 27 now and I guess it comes at some point for everyone at a different time.
