Isn't that the whole point? I'm a damn adult, if I want some TnA on the boxart why shouldn't it have some?

It should be noted that it appears the censoring is only on the cover art. The website and promo materials are still untouched. Must just be an ESRB packaging thing. SEGA can put what they want elsewhere, but the cover art has strict guidelines.

That isn't a big deal to me. Really, its very minor. If anything it would make buying the game less embarrassing. I'm a damn adult, why do I want to go into a store and buy a game with a 12 year old anime girls ass cheeks hanging out?

I looked at the boxart and....eh? There's hardly any arse to even see!

Either way, it's a little odd to cover a pixel or two of skin of a character I will likely not look at in that way regardless.

I own Senran Kagura (EU Physical Copy), and bought it online so I don't honestly care about boobs and stuff being on cover art....in this case I see it as America being too squeaky clean over something not really considered all that bad.

I am not too bothered about the Box Art though, it just adds an extra flower on the cover art!
Big fan of Claymore, Miria in particular.

We can whine about a flower covering a few pixels of a anime girls ass or we can just play the game and not be affected. ESRB sucks, what did you expect?

I await the day when Arse Hair is considered controversial over a bare bottom! (even if its pixelated)

Launch edition announced for America. 28 page artbook with a special box. If you already pre-ordered, your order will automatically be updated according to their Tweet.

As for Europe...still nothing.

Doesnt the late localization for europ mostly have to do with the different languages?

SEGA of America (thanks to Atlus USA) are killing it. It's February and we already have three confirmed physical releases with special launch edition materials. I know in the past, SEGA did that with stuff like Alien: Isolation, Sonic Lost World, Generations, All-Stars Racing Transformed, but those were all digital bonuses. Getting physical goodies finally is awesome, and it bodes well for other games like whatever they have planned for Sonic and Yakuza 0.

I really do think that had Yakuza 5 been announced later we would have had a physical edition with a cool bonus, but it was done during SEGA's transition when they were warming up to localization but weren't sold on physical media for every home console release.

I think it goes to show how Atlus is basically calling the management shots over at SEGA America, exciting times for US based SEGA fans.

Shame SEGA Europe are just doing their own thing instead and catering to the PC market only, only blemish in all this I feel.

Yeah, I do feel sorry for European fans.

But I'll admit, given I'm in America and dealing with the good, it is very hard for me to feel angry towards SEGA. George and I get a ton of flack for not dogging SEGA Europe for lack of releases, but thing is we are simply not experiencing it ourselves so it is very hard to make it our priority. Part of the reason we want to bring on a few new writers, including a UK person, for that perspective. Also, hounding SEGA Europe on Twitter and Facebook would only hurt SEGAbits future chances at working with them. I do, however, try and mention "Still no word on a European release" when I can in articles.

Oh, haha. I noticed that when you click SEGA Amazon links on their microsites it has the Atlus Amazon Affiliate tag.
